In good snow conditions the chalets can be reached from the slopes on skis. Cross country trails pass by the house and an ice skating rink can be visited 100 metres away. A sled run can be reached on foot in 10 minutes.

Mountain biking and hiking are popular activities in the region during summer. Shops, restaurants, bars and cafés can be visited in Bad Kleinkirchheim, 15 km away.
